Think Pink is an Event Management and Marketing Consultancy company working with the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community across the North East of England.
We have extensive experience working across all sectors, with most of our early work centred on the licensed late night trade including pubs, bars and nightclubs. Over the past two years we have worked with local authorities and charities to develop and manage community focussed events on their behalf. In 2006 Think Pink created Out North East Magazine, which quickly became the North East’s number one Lesbian and Gay publication; this was sold to the LGBT Federation in October 2009 to allow the company to focus on Event Management and Marketing Consultancy.
The sale of Out North East Magazine also allowed Directors, Simon Hatfield and Philip Douglas to invest an undisclosed sum in a new Bar and Nightclub Venture, 'Blu and Basement' in the Centre of Middlesbrough. The complex, owned and operated by sister company HD Leisure Limited is the new home for SATUR-GAY alongside new brands, Pout! and Pop Boudoir.
